I've got a '96 600s divvy , alls been fine untill a week ago when it started missing after about 10 mins of being started. when it's missing i'm able to continue the 8 miles to work but when i get there fuel is leaking from what appears to be the air box to carb rubbers. It will idle fine only misses under load anyone any ideas cheers

1 - avoid riding near naked flames
2 - given that the inlet rubbers are intended to be air tight they shouldn't leak fuel even if it is in the wrong place - so check condition of rubbers.
3 - why would fuel be there in a way that could leak? I'll wait for someone clever to come along - but it sounds like time to remove and clean all the carbs.
4 - Mebbe it leaks from elsewhere - could it be leaking from somewhere after the pump but before the float chamber? How about a sticking float?

Anyhow - where are you? If you put it in your profile it appears on your posts and you might find someone with experience lives near enough to have a look over it with you.
