Nice informative vid for a newbie. Quick tip, when taking the rubber well washers out from behind the screen, it's easier to push them through then try and pull 'em out and risk tearing them ;-)

In the past i have found that spraying rubber seals or grommets with silicone lubricant brings them back to life. I had a rowing boat with a cam-operated rubber drain "bung" and it was absolutely solid.I sprayed it and the following day it operated and flexed perfectly normally. So it might be a good idea to spray any rubber grommets etc with silicone before they get to the stage the chap experienced in the video.
