If you are after a D9 replacement, no doubt Ian will support me in this........that looks like a bike well worth considering. Set up ready for touring (Breva 750 screen excepted), there's a few mods you can do to improve the engine's torque and power delivery - but it's a bike that'll last at least 20 years. The engineering is fantastic and it's got character. Keep an eye on that one.

Yep. He was so struck by the handling he had to have one. Also. he now takes a pillion much more than he ever did. The GS is hardly affected by having a passenger. The Guzzi isnt so pillion friendly for long runs.
I really like the Breva 1100. The engine has great character and the bike oozes cool. Some say they Piaggio Guzzis dont have the character of the older bikes. If that means the new ones work with no hastles then its true. But this one has lots of character. You know you are riding an Italian V twin that's not a Ducati and that's all good. It goes and stops very well indeed.
I was tempted but cant justify another bike and dont have the space.
