I was informed on popping in last Sunday that their socials are back on Last Thursday evening of the month.
They are located on the A40 between Whitney and Oxford and have a decent breakfast van in their car park at any time.

I was a loyal HG purchaser until they shut the Peterborough shop

I think Bob kept the Oxfordshire store afloat.
I have never seen anyone buy anything in there. I like their gear, I just cant afford it. When they had the 40% off before Christmas pretty much everything I had an interest in was out of stock in my size.

I got a decent sat-nav holder from the store in Edinburgh. Only £15... much less than I was expecting =)

This is good to know. Had forgotten about this. The long winter has dulled my brain so much that I see my latest post are all reminiscing. This is local to me so should give me an incentive to "get out more". Anyone likely to pop over? Meat-eaters and vegetarians welcome. I still have my XJ600S (green - the fastest and best) AKA Otis, who's kept ticking over when not in use by my trusty HG battery charger/conditioner. See you at the van maybe? PS Don't forget H Cafe (I still call it Fox's) at Berinsfield/Dorchester every Monday night. www.h-cafe.co.uk/

I always stop for a butty when passing that way. I may make one of their Thursdays but it wont be this month. I think Bob n Martin are very local as well. H's is H's again as far as I know.
