Or you could just look back through this thread I'll try and create a sign up posting when I return from work. We meet at the village cafe, "The delicious deli", this is situate right on the corner of the A59 and the A682 at the western end of the village. The access road to Gisburne Park Hospital directly across the road has unrestricted parking sufficient for our needs. We leave at 10:30am for the run, allowing time for distant attendees to grab a bite of breakfast at the Deli if required. Anyone wanting a good b&b have a couple of choices. Park House Hotel, about 100m from the Deli. 01200 445269. White Bull Inn, about 50m from the Deli. 01200 445155. Anyone in need of a patch of grass to pitch a tent is welcome to use the grassed area next to my home. We should complete the circuit before 4pm at the Little Chef at Skipton. You can disperse from here after a brew. those wishing to not carry luggage on the run can leave at my home and collect after we leave Skipton. It's a further 10 miles.

And, to assist further. The Deli is located at the junction of the A59 and A682. For the benefit of forum members arriving on Sunday, the Deli will be serving by 09:45 to allow a bite to eat and a brew before departure. Every little helps.

Well, not sure what happened there! I managed to make it to the start point at Gisburn ok, then the bike wouldn't start so I had to ask for a push. Arrived at the viaduct as planned and had to have another push start when we left. I was having an excellent time on the twisty roads as we all pulled up outside the Tan Hill Inn, but the people I arrived with weren't the people I left with!
Had to ask for another push start at the Tan Inn and headed home, wondering where everyone else had got to. Just made it home on what fuel was left in my tank.
It was good to put a few names to faces, I would have liked to have had the opportunity to meet some more of you, maybe I would have if I could have kept on track.
I hope everyone had a good day and once I have fixed the starting problem I might be able to join some of you again.

Don't take it personally. In fact it most be some strange tradition. I attended my first Diversion meeting and was similarly misplaced! The situation does though, by tradition, obligate you to plan a future forum meet at which we release another forum attendee virgin to the wild.

Hi
Sounds like you missed the right turn at Hawes, but nice to hear that you still had a good time. I hope you get your starting problems fixed. Check the Dark Blue wire that runs from the starter switch to the starter relay.

They cut off along with me from the brewery. Ended up having another run to Devils bridge with them on our way home. Some great roads on the way to Gisburn (thanks to Brian) more great roads on the run (thanks to George) and as said great roads on the way home (thanks to the man and his PA)Thanks guys (everyone) for a great if not exhausting day. It has taken me about four and a half hours before I had the strength to go back outside and put the bike away. Keith

Hi Guy,s Great to see you all again, my shoulder is a bit sore this morning but not as bad as I thought it would be. Thanks to our run leader for putting on a ride out it not easy and takes some planning, this area is one John and I ride quite a lot but it was nice to follow someone else,s route. Masham square was very quiet usually very busy. John and I left the run at the brewery to make sure Pop,s was ok he is one brave guy he was in a lot of discomfort he would not say it but he was. Many thank,s to everyone and see you all on the next run. Paul.
