A bit of notice. JR 13 will take place in Blairgowrie, Perthshire May 25th and 26th, as the title suggests. Please (assuming you have a full bike licence, insurance and MOT or someone to legally take you pillion. ) join me on a meander or two through my local area. Run sign up will be posted tonight. B&B, Hotels and Camping (for those fit enough ;D )all available in the area. Get booked up. Jr and myself already have a couple of great routes in mind provided he can stay out of hedges and I miss the Bus. ;D For those who think they need 4 fleeces, 2 pairs of heated gloves, and 2 pairs of trouser liners to venture North of Grantham I can assure you it's virtually a tropical paradise up here in the East. ;D

Sadly these dates are when I'll be prepping to leave to ride in France and Italy. If any southern members need anywhere to stop overnight whilst heading north, we have a small paddock beside the house you are welcome to pitch a tent on, and secure offroad parking for bikes. (Gisburn, Lancashire/Yorkshire border.)

(Gisburn, Lancashire/Yorkshire border.) No better prepping than a run to Scotland. I might, just manage the strain. My wallet sadly wouldn't, tyres only last a specific number of miles. My miles are accounted for on the forthcoming trip. Enjoy yourselves though, it's a gorgeous part of the country. If anyone's seeking a quality B&B in Perth take a peek in the recommendations section at Cherry Bank, it's one we used previously. Bikers themselves, I can't recommend them enough. Clothing drying rooms and secure m/cycle parking are offered freely.

Perth would be a bit far out. Though not undoable at 16 miles or so.
I live 27 miles from Blairgowrie though I'll be staying up there for the weekend. I think Jr plans to ride up on the day for the runs.

Maybe so, I thought it was hot last year in Oban.

I haven't been up there at night for a good while. Haven't booked anywhere myself yet. Blairgowrie and Rattray isn't really that big a place.

have found some lodges, altamount, as bev already mentioned, but they are closed till monday 14th! friday to monday self catering seems to be around £255 per lodge...so even just 4 would work out to £63.75 for the 3 nights, plus a slice a toast and cuppa for breaky!!

If Mrs Showaddy will let me out, I'm interested in sharing accommodation if it gets the price down.
Interested parties please apply.
They tell me I snore, but I've never heard it.
