Thought i should introduce myself, so "HELLO" ;D I have just got my first diversion, and 1994 with 31500 on the clock. Had bikes all my life, from outfits to goldwings and from cm125 to honda blackbirds, but had to sell my last few bikes (thundercat, lambretta j50 and st1100) to help fund a house deposit , so been without a bike for 2 1/2 years, as the house has soaked up all my moneey and overtime. So sod it, had a spare £800, and found one up for £795, got it for £750 with 3 months waranty, and 6 months tax. Ok not the best deal every, but this one is not a dog and all orignal, so i am quite happy. I'm a Melton Mowbray man (we have some of the best rods for biking round here ) a BT engineer but a fridge engineer by trade, i have more fads than you can shake a stick and although i am a granddad, i never got round to growing up

Not much damage if I was you I would set my sights a little lower start with an invalid carriage then work your way up to a Smart car before going to metal vehicles ;D Or most work on 190-200 to a tank FULL on a mix of roads. Neil PS have assumed you have a 900 because only a fool would contemplate taking on a tank with a 600/

Hi Megga, and welcome to our club They are a great bunch. Don't believe him! We are a bunch of grumpy old gits, so you'll most likely fit right in. If you put your location in your profile people will know where(ish) you are long after they've forgotten this thread. It might help if someone wants to recommend something which depends on where you are. (garage / parts / service / pie shop)

HI Megga - welcome to YDC. As a fellow 900 divvy owner I must congratulate you on your excellent choice. Roads around Melton are indeed good for biking - I used to live in Colsterworth but have now moved up to Chester.
