Hi All. First I had out and out sports bikes, then sports tourers, now at retirement age, an XJ900 2001 with 22,500 miles. Not quite the whole story though, throughout our married life my wife has shown no interest in bikes, and least of all being a pillion. In May this year I bought a Triumph Sprint, in blue, she liked the colour, ( womens logic ? : and suggested a ride down to our local town, well, shocked I was ! Anyway, long story short, after that initial ride I can't keep her off the bike....went out and bought her all the gear, then she wanted something more comfortable, less quick, and a top box to lean on....hence the purchase made to-day........ I'll be on for information regarding the bike, the first is manual downloads, and dash bulbs, but I'll post them up under the proper section....... Cheers, hope to have a long association here

Hi Fergie, From one newbie to another welcome to the YDC. You've landed on your feet here if it's Div900 knowledge you're after (well so I've been told anyway). Jim

B&B. !! Where exactly are you located please? Two of us are travelling to Roscoff en-route to the Catalan moto-gp the first weekend in June next year. Our return route is through Italy and Switzerland returning to blighty from Roscoff once more. I am looking for a B&B close enough to Roscoff to allow a leisurely start for the ferry crossing in early afternoon. George.

We are about an hour and twenty mins from Roscoff...However, there is a road that just has to be ridden to get there, it's slightly off route and you may want to ride it twice, so allow some extra time..... it's the D769 from Huelgoat to Morlaix via Berrien, if I don't do it at least once a month I get withdraw symptoms...check it out on Google Earth or on a decent map... I only joined yesterday, so not sure of the rules, I'll post our B&B here for you, but if the moderators need to remove it, you can PM me, give me your e-mail address, and I'll send you the link....... Cheers .Fergie.. www.liztyjos.com/

Hi Fergie, Suprised that Pilgrim (Brian) hasn't posted yet as he lives in La Gacilly. Several of us took him up on his offer to show us around his local area a couple of years ago and a great time was had by all. Can't see the mods worrying about you posting your B&B details as this is a benefit to all members. Been a member since 2001 and much as I now run a BMW R1200RT this is a great site, good members and lots of information ( we probably know more about Diversions between us than Yamaha!). When we eventually get around to revisiting that area we will let you know and see about the B&B opportunities. Enjoy the club Ian
