And it sounded so nice until the pix were added ;-)
Actually, the only nasty bike accident I ever had was on a combination. Whatever some old boys say, they are lethal & this one isnt even well kept.

Whatever some old boys say, they are lethal
When they (combinations) were normal daily transport for the working man, they were the cheapest vehicle on the road to insure. Cheaper than your solo bike, cheaper than your car. And for a reason. They were (are) the safest vehicle on the road. BUT...you have to know what you are doing. You can't jump off of a solo and onto a comb and expect to drive it without some words of advice from those 'old boys'.
I cut my teeth on my dad's Vincent Rapide/Busmar outfit.
Happy days.
Jim

It would be ideal for Gurninman. He can get 1 lady on the pillion seat and two reserves in the sidecar ;D

I may get slagged off for this but rip that body off and put a decent one on tidy it up (a lot) and that would be a good combo. If you like that sort of thing. Never tried one myself but I wouldn't mind a go.

And not changed my mind since last week. The scariest thing I have ever done was to be taken round Knockhill racing circuit in a side car. I am a mountaineer , have bungee jumped and skydived. Nothing compared to the combo racers- totally mental! Charlie
