With about 15000 other bikers apparently. Most of them seemed to be mounted on Harleys - I didn't know there were that many in the country! www.rttw.org/A very moving and fitting tribute to "those who no longer ride with us". I saw one silver D6 parked on the actual car park of the Arboretum and met a rider who admitted to having started his riding career on a D9 at the age of 60 (but now rides a Harley). Was anybody else there representing this august body?

Nice day, great ride.
I saw a green D900 ridden by a guy in a kilt arrive.
A green D900 arrive about 13:00 and go into the main car park where I saw the silver one too.
I'd love to know how many people were actually there.

The big parking field was full and I heard somebody in bike gear saying they had parked and ridden in on a bus.
I haven't heard any official figures for number of bikes or seen the local news. Last year they reported over 10000 bikes!
The guy who was marshalling the toll booth on the A38 said he had never seen as many bikes in the 5 year history of the ride.

Amazing feeling all in unison cruising down the M1

I'll second that - not sure how far we stretched down the M1 but it would have been impressive to see from a bridge.
Was amazed at the number of bikes at Woodhall Services and even more so at the NMA. As per last year the wife and I sat on the corner and waved all the bikes in. Last year you could almost identify the groups from the different start points by the time of their arrival and subsequent gap until the next group. This year, next to no gaps and, if I heard correct, the service was put back to accommodate the number of bikes still coming in.
Once again the weather didn't disappoint. Looking forward to October 2013 already.
