Hi Diversion Fans,
Can anyone recommend a good motorcycle rain cover that will fit a 600cc Diversion S? It has to keep rain and snow off.
I have been using a Motrax Heavy Duty (Medium size) Cover, but after 18 months it has worn out, tearing and pulling apart. Disappointing. I have tried a brand new Oxford Stormex Medium (£65.00), but it is a bad fit - very tight indeed (not quite big enough) and its ventilation pockets position in such a way as to be able to let rain in! Also, it has a heavy elastic skirt making it difficult to get on. Not recommended.
Thoughts please.
Best, RB

I find that a garage does well at keeping rain and snow off. I have also used a extra large BBQ cover while i couldn't get the bike in the garage, quite square, easy to pull over the bike, pull tight corn round the bottom. £12.99 from B&Q I had it two years now and although its now back on the BBQ it worded fine on the bike.

Thank you both for your thoughts, useful and interesting. meerkat: Sadly, I do not currently have the luxury of a garage - something I am looking to address. I was beginning to think similarly, tarpaulins, ground sheets, etc. @ukdiceman: That looks pretty good and a decent price too! They describe it as Oxford material, presumably in homage to Oxford Brand covers? Are you happy with its quality and level of weather protection? The Oxford Stormex I tried (bought and returned) was a nice material, but as mentioned was a bad fit and also too 'fussy' - number plate window panels, solar battery charger pouch and air vents that would let in water (when fitted to an XJ600S). Thanks again, RB

There are no windows or openings for chargers etc, no water gets in at all. the only elastic is just at the front and rear tyres, quality is very good.

@cd: Many thanks. Although I can see the possible advantages, the 'bike tent' design is not what I am looking for right now. Thanks for the links.
@ukdiceman: Many thanks. On your kind recommendation, have just ordered one! :-) Appreciate it.
Best, RB.
