A great weekend, starting with meeting Roger, Mac, Debs & Peter just outside Kettering for the run up to the Greeny's on Saturday, for an onward run to Sunny Hunny . 'twas a tad warm, but a refreshing spruce-up at the hotel saw us fit to venture out for food & beers Saturday night. Sunday morning saw Roger & I a bit late off the blocks, compared to the keen Ecton posse; But we arrived at the Diner in good time to meet-up, chat, drink coffee. Some "challenging" roads, some great sweepers, overtaking opportunities a-plenty followed . Thank you to Bob for leading & to Fern, Debs, Roger, Greeny & Ben who all had a go back-marking I believe, with Fern & Debs doing the longest stints keeping us in line. A fine weekend, lets hope for many more. FOOTNOTE: 499.8 miles over the weekend, on the TRX. Backside a little over-worked, but otherwise a successful stress-test for these aging bones .

Big thanks to Bob & Fern for sorting out a great run again and to all who helped make it a great day out. Andy and me love the Fen & Nene runs as they are so well sorted and the roads are great and so much different to our local ones. After stopping at Newark for a break, Got home about 9.00 pm very tired but happy we had such a great day. hope the ribs heal soon Linz and hope things go ok with the invalid Fern.
Best regards to all.
John & Andy.

Thanks to Bob, Fern and the crew for an entertaining weeekend..
started warm and got warmer...
brisk run to meet up with a few others outside Corby, for onward bit to The Greens before legging it to Sunny Hunny, and boy was it sunny and warm, and some views were hot, apparently !
Sunday run was a good mix of roads, but the sun kept of beating down on us.. but the afternoon Fens were a little breezy..
great days, thanks again to ALL...
see you next time.

Debs & I had a great weekend. A Saturday bimble to Market Deeping with Woger and Martin for a meet up with the Green clan then on to Sunny Hunny for ice-cream before getting back to the hotel for a SS&S. A hearty meal was followed by a live band. The Sunday run was a great mixture of fens, twisties and I think a rarely used public footpath . Many thanks to Bob & Fern for all their efforts in putting this run together and to the marshalls as well.

A fine weekend, Backside a little over-worked You should really be more careful about your choice of room mates on these Divvy weekends!

There's no satisfying some people. I back-marked for him on the way home and all he could do was complain about my dipped beam!
Great run - many thanks to Fern and the other Bob.

A big thankyou to all those peeps that came and to all the back markers. Even tracking down the odd one who went AWOL. The day turned out well and we got in there just before the weather turned again. Sorry about the wind out in the Fens, but you do get use to riding at 45 degrees in a straight line.
Again thanks again for coming, it makes putting on a run well worth it. Oh and I did get a free Mug from the Harley's diner ;D

lol... has a brief side shot of that lovely TRX too :-)
Its a bit shakey, partly as rear mounted is a bit shakey ... but the roads were very bumpy... in the full length I get some 'air' several times ;-)
