Despite the many emails he receives every day, offering numerous medical interventions tailored for a gentleman of his age, Fiasco knows that the only cure for his recent ailments: diversionclub.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=general&action=display&thread=18360.... is a YDC day out on the bike. With that in mind, you are welcome to join us, meeting at H Cafe, Berinsfield, OX10 7LY for an 11:00am departure, for a run into the Ox & Berks countryside. The route & stops are a surprise ! Say here if you fancy coming along .

Oh, I really don't know if I want to ride my bike, is it ok if I come along in the car ? ;D I will of course be there a bit earlier to consider things over a plate of something fried and meaty Cheers Dave Ps I never mentioned anything to Martin about any medical suggestions, just in case anyone had sent any and thought I may have said something

I fancy coming along. BUT........... it's a 800 mile trip to get there and back, not counting the run. AND......... the weather forecast is well dodgy. However as the statement was Say here if you fancy coming along . and I can find no reference to "say here if you ARE coming along" or similar, then I thought I would just let it be known that I fancy coming along . Gilbert Logic.

Would love to join you for breakfast, and perhaps a bimble, but on Monday I shall be paddling dragon boats in Hereford.
If any one would like to support Marie Curie Cancer Care, we have a just giving page (which seems to be temporarily dead) - please google "team DynamiQ just giving". Marie Curie is one of my company's corporate charities this year, so they will match whatever the team collects.
Have fun.

I too would love to join you, but..... as it would mean a 140 mile return journey of the dreaded North Circular, and....the weather is gonna be sh1tty, and....you know how unreliable I am on these trips . I will abstain

You never know, now the forecast has improved, Clive may turn up ;D Please see Reply #2 Although OT (Pilgrim) The XJ6 is 'out of action' due to my new DID chain coming with a spring link and not the expected rivet link The box containing said chain states that a spring link should NOT be used and suggest a rivet link...WTF??

Whoo-Hoo ! Blessed with the weather, just a few spots of rain occasionally, else fine & dry, & some good dry roads . Thanks to everyone who turned up - that'll be Fiasco . We took it in turns to lead & backmark . That TDM's still quite quick . Was good to get out for a hoon bimble today - here's hoping Fiasco gets home dry - it started raining on the way home for me, can't complain though, only light. Here's hoping too that Fiasco's therapy proved beneficial !

Here's hoping too that Fiasco's therapy proved beneficial ! Cetainly was, thanks 'Doc Martin' Really nice day out, nice greasy fry up and a catch up to start, then off out for a bimble hoon. Was great fun wringing the neck of the VStrom, I was glad I opted for the extended test and it really grew on me after a while - still won't be buying it though, although would be tempted if I had time to ride two bikes. Amazing how many people will pay a fortune to stand about 50 foot closer to Stone Henge than they would be standing outside the fence, or is that just the honourary Yorkshireman in me? Got home dry and the rain came down as I washed my filthy TDM, much to the amusement of the neighbours! Thanks again Martin, cracking day out, just what the Doctor Ordered Dave

Classy hijack? Don't think I've ever been called classy before.
Especially as i managed to get the wrong charity - its Cancer Research UK who will be £1000 better off, and not Marie Curie.
Glad to see that the runsters seem to have had a good run, and better weather than we did.
