My mate used to have to have a version of this stuff, which took an exact measurable time to work - somewhere in the region of a couple of hours.
Timed to perfection, he took just before boarding the plane at Dublin, so that on arriving home he would have about half an hour in hand.
Then the plane was delayed . . . .
