Wow, that screen is tall! Can you fit under low bridges ok? What's the seat pad you've got on called? Does it make it much more comfortable/increase your long distance capability? I'm thinking of having my seat reupholstered/re-foamed, but that might be quicker/cheaper/better? Thanks! Andy

Hi Andy I like a high screen - plenty of protection and yes it does make sustained high speed cruising much easier. I am 6' and get a little buffeting. With regards to my seat. I looked into the possibility of having it re - upholstered but in the end as the seat was not damaged I opted to buy a a supreme gel comfort seat. They are sold by a guy called Gordon May who I met at the Stafford Bike show. Gordon recently travelled from Manchester to India on a Royal Enfield and yes he used this gel seat! If you have a look at the following web site www.motorcyclegelpad.co.uk/riders_large_gel_pad.htmlCost of gel pad and cover £46 - to have had seat reupholstered @£100. I find gel seat comfortable and would recommend. Hope this helps.

Thanks Mike, that's great! I'll have to decide whether to get a pillion pad too as the Mrs won't be too happy if I get one and she doesn't!

Hi Jona - as to whether this gel pad is different or better than other gel pads I am not sure. This is the first gel pad I have bought and it has improved my comfort on the bike.
