Some info on the bike would be handy. I guess for £995 they cant afford the time to do it..

Thats what I call a proper motorbike, all the power you could want with the looks to go with it. If I hadent already got two bikes I would have been very interested and more than likely gone for it. How could anyone go wrong at that price.

My guess is the FJ1200 will be one of the future classics. It might do better than the oh so bland Honda CBR1000 of similar age.

How could anyone go wrong at that price. I take it that you have not bought many second hand bikes then. Do you live anywhere near oxford.

Looks its age to me. Maybe the photos are unflattering.
I'm pretty sure I could find better ways to spend that money.

I certainly wont be rushing up to Leeds to spend my hard earned money on this FJ! Looks like it has certainly seen better days.

Miserable (tight!) old sods on here, eh ? That seems a reasonable price from a shop, with a long ticket. Private, a bit less.

A few weeks ago someone was trying to sell an overpriced and damaged FJR 1300 that needed a large outlay of time and cash to get to decent condition, some of the members stated what a good buy it was, From what I can see this FJ 1200 needs easy cosmetic work to make into a realy smart bike. and its being called a shed,
