Just returned from a very wet and windy European tour on the Diversion. Weather was so bad that I have had it with motorbike tours for a couple of years and will be going in the car for a while. It was freezing cold, wet, miserable. All the things a bike tour with your mates should not be. Good news is the bike performed as if it was brand new, its fantastic and comes with the proper Krauser pannier system. Mileage passed 20,000 riding round Gent, Belgium in the pouring rain 2 days ago and now shows 20600. I will just do without a bike until I find the will to ride again.... Lots of history and probably one of the very best diversions available. Rear tyre probably has around 1500 miles left on it and the front is good for many more than that. Starts on the button first time, its as good as it looks in the photos. Will be happy with £2250. Anyone before it goes on Autotrader This photo was taken in September last year just after I bought it. The miles are only 2000 more than they were then and condition is still as good. Bike lives indoors at all times. diversionclub.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=downloadattachmentpage&board=general&thread=15802&post=164285

Hi all, plenty of people viewed but not one comment, is it too expensive?
Im in the market for a nice CBR or VFR for sunny day rides so would be open to offers of swaps as well.
Cheers

Cheers Ontor I would be interested if I had a spare £2250 laying about You may be better putting in on ebay auction where it will sell for it's real value, I am sure that you would get a reasonable price if it is as good as it looks in the pictures. Good luck

Hi all, plenty of people viewed but not one comment, is it too expensive? IMHO; yes! I know it looks to be in great condition and with low mileage, but have a look on Autotrader/E-Bay to check out how much they are going for. This might not be the place to try and sell one, as most members on here either have one, or have had one in the past, and have now moved on to other things. Having said that, some 600 owners might fancy the move up, or previous 900 owners might want a bit of nostalgia, so you might get lucky.

Thanks for the info chaps I will get it on ebay, plenty of mental, idiot dealers that seem to think a P reg is worth over 2 grand so I don't expect I will struggle to part with this. Great bike, I just won't risc another Euro tour on 2 wheels for a long long time. Ontor

In the end I traded it in for a V strom
Now its gone I can tell you that it was without a doubt the absolute best one in the country. I have nothing to gain now by claiming this but I assure you, unless there is one sitting in a crate unused then GU52XCZ was and is the best one in the UK.
Bradford motorcycles now have it in the showroom for £3000 and will probably get that for it.
Too late now guys
I have enyojed my time here,
best regards

Hi I have a 900 divvy with lower fairings and did not get as wet as a lad on V Strom about 5 years ago on a trip to the Cantel Mountains.
