Reading some of the other posts recently there seams to be a few of us in the Lincs / Newark area. The Run organized last year was really good, Trev's route and the rest of the guy who helped put on a great ride. Is there anyone with the time to organize one this year. As I have been away from the site for a little while due to work and other commitments there might already have been talk or reasons not to this year but just wondered if someone had the time and inclination? If I had the time I would. Anyone else?

I would be very interested in attending, but work commitments are keeping me very busy, it seems some 'sporting event' this summer is taking up a lot of work time at the moment. Oh and the Boss is having a Muster this weekend at one of her castles, which i am required to attend in best suit and medals. So i guess I'm saying if somebody can plan it i will make my very best efforts to attend. Dave

Book a weekend off and plan a run, it isn't that hard. State a date and we will come. Trev's done the last few, he's been quiet of late so maybe time for him to take a back seat (though he aint getting on mine, even if there was the room ). Step up and get it planned guys, don't be shy.

If I had the time I would. Having been the "organiser" for the runs in Moffat in 2009/10, I can tell you all you need is half an hour on google-maps to arrange the routes, and 10 minutes to post a sign-up sheet. Or if you want to do the all singing, all dancing version of the sign up sheet arranged in nice little grids - allow a couple of months .

Was going to sort something, but 'circumstances' have thrown a spanner in the works If anyone in the area fancies organising one I'm willing and able, ( ooer mr's), to help with distance/timings, and instructions for avoiding ditches.

YDC is always looking for new hosts for runs and meets. I would be happy to offer help and advice to anyone who is thinking about hosting a run in this, or any other area. Feel free to pm me if you want more details.
