Thinking of upgrading soon and was wondering if anyone has had any experience with best seasons / months to sell. During summer or just before the sun? It's mint and I use it as a summer tourer but it's certainly not a winter hack. Attachments:

I recently swapped my old 900 in for an XTZ1200, and even though the dealer had a price of £2500 on my old Divvie, its gone! So if its a good one, and its what someone wants, they will sell right now.

You won't be disappointed. I've had 3 and would have another if i could afford to run 2 bikes and a car

I would definitely recommend the D9, weight issues aside (depends if that bothers you or not), and the absence of chain maintenance is a bonus.

+1 for the D9, as for ebay the best time and day is sunday at 10:00pm .

The D9 is heavy if you drop it but once its rolling you wont notice the weight. They dont pester you to go faster-faster like many bikes do. But they can scoot when asked to. My only complaint is the carp windscreen, but there are a few options to sort that.
