Took a quick blast over to Holland (and some of the rest of the Netherlands), went weds back this afternoon. 1300miles in total. Not classic biking roads, but some interesting routes non the less. Here are some of the pics: Hook of Holland: Peace Palace AKA The International Court (where megolomaniacs like Slobodan Milosevich get tried): Near Haarlem: Afluitsdijk, linking Holland to Frisia: The German-Netherlands border near the Rhine: Dock on the lesser Rhine: A submarine and an Enigma machine: btw, i edited some of these in photobucket to be the correct way up, but they are still on their side - i will try to fix.....

Thanks for the pics I've always liked Holland. The people are very friendly and once you get out of the north the roads are much quieter.

Looks an interesting trip. I have always fancied doing a tour of the Operation Market Garden battle sites. One day, when I get round to it...

Great place to visit. Been back quite a few times since the 80's when I was stationed near the border in the RAF, about half hour from Nijmegen.
Out of the major cities roads are not too busy. Pretty sure I'll be back again.
