Not an epic trip, but having picked up the D9 in December after something like 15 years without a bite the sunshine last Sunday was to hard to resist so took a little trip to visit my Daughter in Coventry.
M40 was soo boring and i had so promised to behave and honest i wasn't going that quick but when I arrived for me tea and sandwich my little speed freak said "you averaged what" !!!!
OK 85 lol but hey ho was fun. (didn't tell her I got lost and stooped for a smoke as well)
even better on way back got lost and ended up going home via A45 M45 then switching to M40 via the A43/A422.
Now the A45 was fun but the A42/A422 was a total blast, not a lot of tin cans about and a nice piece of road to hone the skills.
Would highly recommend that piece of road for a little spin.
