Bought a set of Roxster heated grips in October 2010, which I didn't fit to a bike until November 2011. Pity the controller didn't work

My plight was mentioned in a YDC thread, & the "Consumer's Champion", AKA THe Peterborough Pikey said I should contact the seller. So I did. I actually asked if he could sell me a controller separately - not expecting a replacement due to the time elapsed.
This morning I received a replacement controller, free of charge. The controller was wrapped not in the more traditional bubble-wrap but in a 2wheeljunkie.co.uk beanie hat, perfect for keeping the head of a slightly-thinning rider warm during the essential thawing-out breaks on winter rides
