My Givi Wingrack has always been a bit lop sided so thought I'd get it adjusted.
Loosen the bolts fiddle, faff, scratch head. Nope it wont go on any differently. The right side is high and a bit farther back that the left and all the Givi brackets look to be the same shape.
Then while comparing side to side, looking from above the bike, I noticed the pillion footrest angles were not quite the same. Careful measurements between cast brackets and wheel rim showed a 10mm difference. The RHS was pushed inwards by 10mm!
I unbolted the pillion footrest/exhaust hanger bracket (very stiff bolts) and sure enough the frame lug was bent. There was no space to use a large adjustable spanner so used a blunt stillson to pull the bracket out. Reassembled with copper grease and...
The Givi wing rack fits straight and the LHS exhaust does not look like its sticking out too far. Oddly enough, the bent inwards footrest/exhaust hanger was causing the RHS Givi frame to sit further out. It must be down to the bracket geometry.
So it looks like if your new exhaust is hitting the wheel spindle or your luggage wont fit... The culprit could be the pillion footrest mounts.
