I replaced the oil pipes (& cooler) on an FJ1200. Didn't have to remove the motor! I'm pretty sure there's no need for that on a Divvy!

Right - just been out to look at my Divvy900. With the exhaust downpipes removed it looks pretty much like my FJ1200's set up, so definately no need to drop the motor.

Greetings
no you dont have to remove the engine to get the pipes of simply remove the downpipes then you can unbolt the pipes there bolted at the top(oil cooler) the bottom(side of oil filter) and theres a bracket about halfway down the pipes and they should be free make sure you use loadsa WD40(other releasing agents are available ;D)as they have probably never been off the bike
Max.....

And remember to try and hold the oil cooler fastenings tightly when you try to loosen the pipes or you'll probably twist them off (or crack them at least) trev

thanks , just finished putting another set of pipes and cooler on. although the engine did'nt need dropping , i did have to remove the filter housing to undo the bolts . loads of WD40 to get the flange bolts off.
