Hi, One of my mates has a fuel starvation on his bike when he is riding in freezing conditions that lasts for about 2-3 seconds then the engine comes back to life again.
I remember a post on here last year about this very subject but cannot find it, but a spray was recommended to spray on the carbs ? or somewhere to cure this issue/
Does anybody know the name of the spray
thanks dxtans

You can add a bit of isopropyl alcohol or Silkolene Pro FST to the fuel and it will usually cure this.

yup, it's carb freezing, usual suggestions is as above.
Another idea, route a bit of flexy hose around the back of the engine into the airbox inlet. Bit restrictive perhaps, but can warm the air before it gets to the engine. The sort of stuff that's used to fix car airboxes, so it should then be safe around the engine bay.
For a free no-hassle fix - it happens usually when coming off the motorway onto a slip-road. If you pull the clutch in and kill the engine for a few seconds, hot air comes back up through the carbs and thaws them. Trust me, it works. Then you just bump start it at the bottom of the slip road.

I tried the suggestion from here of adding surgical spirit, having said that. Last year the bike never cut out on me, this year it did, when the surgical spirit had been added. However this may have been due to the atmospheric conditions being really bad, who knows at is such a variable event.
