If the spotlights draw much power it's wise to fit a relay fed from a heavy cable thats always live ans switched with the original light circuit. This will protect the original wiring and switchgear and costs next to nothing extra.

Yes mate i've wired them to a seperate illuminated 3 pin switch with a relay and used heavier cable as per the wise "MAPLINS" man, I drilled out a neat hole in the left hand fairing panel and they work a treat, In fact i got the wife to perform the official turning on in the garage and opened a can to celebrate funnily enough ;D

Well done. When I had a '97 600, I'd have liked to fit lights in the little side air intakes, but never found anything suitable. The 900 has a pair of 50mm round LED lamps as daylight markers either side of the oil cooler - very distinctive in traffic. Not yet got around to doing the headlight.

yeah saw your pics which inspired me,i also have a single LED white strip light mounted under the headlight and a rear red LED strip light mounted below the number plate which are wired into the pilot/side light. Come to think of it i would probably have got better effect mounting a couple either side of the headlight like your set up !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!,

I got some LED strips for mine but couldnt find anywhere to fit them. Then came across those LED torches. Mine are inside the fairing, just behind the indicators so I get that triple lamp effect. But these days I dont use the headlamp in daylight. The LEDs alone are really effective.
