Hi guys,
I did a carb synchronization on my Divvy 400 last week. I was curious to see the carb pistons work (in order to check that my diaphragms operate OK) so i removed the tank/air filter box and revved up the engine at about 2-3500rpm.
I was observing the carb pistons and to be honest i didn't see 'em rising up at that rpm area.
I revved a little more from idle to 4000-4500 rpm and i saw them trembling quickly like the were about to get lifted by the vaccum difference of the diaphragms above area, but still they were not rising.
I refrained from revving the motor more while in neutral.
Is it normal for the pistons not to be lifted at that rpm area?
