Hi All. Have seen 23watt halogen pilot bulbs advertised. Claim to be bright enough for daytime running and less drain on battery. Has anyone tried them? Cheers Peter.

Cheers Peter. would'nt have thought that the wiring would be up to it, the pilot bulbs are only a few watts, you may be better off using a superbright LED replacement bulb, or fitting a 35 watt HID as a replacement to your dipped beam

I have them in my bikes. The wires are the same gauge so not worried about the additional 20watts. But frankly they were costly but make no real difference and are not bright enough as daytime riding lights. When they blow I'll get some LED bulbs. At least they will last (hopefully).
