Hello all,
what do you ladies and gents carry in terms of a toolkit? I am in the process of putting something together which will fit under the seat and I'd like to know what's the minimum I need for emergencies, including spare bulbs and fuses.

the original tool kit has a couple of spanners, screwdriver and a socket thingy, thats about it.
I have a few spare bulbs, including a headlight one, spare fuses , plus a puncture repair kit. These fit easily under the seat. I also have the radio kit stored under the seat to, so there is plenty of room. hth

other than the origonal toolkit, a roll of electrical tape and a roll of duct tape, together with a few cable tiesI allways carry a tubless repair kit and a small compressor, I have used this kit twice in the last year, once in France, on a friends bike, and once coming of the ferry on my own bike, the comressor i bought from wilkinsons and the repair kit I bought from ebay, I also have a box of permanent repair patches, that you fit from inside the tyre, but never used them, the friend sure was gratefull that i brought the repair kit

Set of ring spanners (including 12mm and 14mm), flat and PZ2 screwdrivers, set of allen keys, zip cable ties and tyre snot work for me. Really should also include some fuses, insulating tape, and small pliers.

Is it just me or is the seat stowage on a 600 pretty restrictive anyway? I just have the on board tool kit, which has about the right stuff, but it's very low quality metal. The alarm under the brake light takes up a bit of space of course, but compared to my mate's SRAD or my dad's RRW blade, you barely get a pack of rizlas in there.
