I've noticed recently the exhaust blowing a little bit, not a great deal but enough to notice. I had it checked out and was told that the collector box has a fracture in it. The exhaust system is a MOTAD, which was on it when I bought the bike, so im assuming (maybe wrongly) that the downpipes, collector box are all MOTAD as well. Looking on EBAY I see a couple of guys selling "NEW" collector boxes made by "DELKEVIC". Also SANDYBIKESPARES, another EBay seller, has a collector box and having spoken to them on the phone they apparently make those ones themselves from 304 grade Stainless Steel. Has anybody had any dealings with either of these collectox boxes that are available? Or perhaps its just best to buy the original MOTAD replacement ? I have been told that mine is weldable, but quite frankly the amount of time and money it will cost to have that done I feel it wiser to invest in a new one. Any suggestions or advice please ?

I would go for welding it. The pipes should come apart easily enough. Just make sure the welder is a proper welder who knows which rods/wire to use on 304 stainless. Or even better use TIG.
