It is possible to buy King and Queen type seats or Gunfighter seats from Corbin. However at over £230 the Corbin seats are rather expensive, mainly I suppose due to shipping to qand from the States and profits for the UK vendor.
www.motorbike-seats.co.uk/ do custom made seats for the Diversion in a number of styles or to your own (Corbin copy ?) style if you want. He has Diversion seats in stock (£50 extra) or will re-cover your own seat for £135. He can also fit a gelastic pad for £35 extra. Add 9.50 for delivery (plus the cost of you posting in to him) and you have a very good seat for well under £200. With the gelastic pad it should be superior to the Corbin.
The gelastic pad works by absorbing most of the vibration that is transmitted to the rider through the seat. It is this vibration which cause the dreaded numb bum ! and an aching back. Therefore, it may well be worth the extra £35 or so if you spend a lot of time on your bike. Note: This internal gelastic pad is far superior to the relatively ineffective gel pads sold as 'stick ons' by the likes of MandP.
p.s. I have just ordered one for my bike so will report on it ASAP

I know I'm a corbin fan (best thing since someone put an internal combustion engine on 2 wheels), but by the time you bought the seat (£50), had it recovered (£135) and fitted gel pad (£35 - I assume front seat only so your passenger will still suffer) to make it as comfy as a corbin, you have spent £220 (not to mention P&P).
The Corbin is £225 (including P&P) and the close cell foam that Corbin use will not freeze in cold weathers and still retain its usefulness after many years unlike the gel pads that (if they are like bicycle seats) do eventually loose their efficency and it will be comfy for your pillion too.
Corbin seats are taylor made so can be customised in colour and style (including options such as a backrest for the pillion and extra storage under a single seat hump) just like these recovering firms.
Recoveing by firms like this (another good one is bumwraps in Worthing) will be cheeper but you will be without your seat for a couple of weeks. Corbin will recover too, but as they are in USA you'll be without your seat for a couple of months!
Apparently Mr Corbin rides a 900 Diversion so it must be a good company!

I did some research but have decided against the Corbin.
Corbin are not waterproof, whereas the Motorbike Seats ones are guaranteed 100%waterproof, which seems more practical in our UK weather which is very different to California etc. With the Corbin seats it is recommended to buy and fit a rain cover or water can build up in the places underneath where the stitches are. Plus the leather needs constant treatment to be water resistant and supple enough not to crack in the sun. Leather is nice for a custom bike but also needs regular care and attention. maybe a vinyl option would be better but they are still not guaranteed waterproof.
If you go for the leather option the cost of a cover and leather polish adds a fair bit to the price. Corbin seats are very nice but I also like the idea of the gelastic pad too. I never carry pillion so am not bothered by only having one pad.
I think all foam is close cell so I don't see why is the Corbin so special ? The gelastic pad is suposedly much better than foam. The gelastic is designed to absorb the vibration that causes backache, whereas in theory, the harder, tighter Corbin foam would increase the vibration transmitted to the rider ? Albeit the seat is more comfortable due to better shaping and being wider
On the downside, gelastic might go off after a few years but it could presumably be replaced at reasonable cost, whereas a bad back cannot.
The Corbin with cover and polish cost about £280, whereas the basic custom one costs £145 inc postage, £180 with one gel pad or £215 with 2 pads and is maintenance free.
A 'choice' thing, but I am happy to spend £180 to get a custom designed, maintenance free, waterproof seat with one gel pad.
