Fitting a Scottoiler Mk7 and dual injector to Bandit 1250 K7. RMV located inside rear tail fairing; nearside, using the supplied cradle and tie wraps. Keep it far enough away from the seat lock to allow rotation of the flow adjuster but high enough to allow filling. Tail fairing is easy to remove if you RTFM Breather fed back towards the tail-light. Vacuum tube looped around the same area and back to balance tube, on the fuel injector, nearside. Instead of cutting the balance tube an extra piece, 25mm long x 3mm bore fuel tube was pushed on to the FI brass tail and the other end pushed on to the “T” piece. Before fitting the Dual Injector check that the oil-ways are clear: blow through the inlet while the two outlets are in a jar of water: watch the bubbles. Mine was cleared at the nib end using a small drill. Despite this the flow is not even so one outlet it will a need gentle squeezing with pliers to restrict it. Check the dual injector flow before it is nailed to the swinging arm because it’s easier to see what’s happening. Otherwise it was fitted as per instructions. Trim the tie wraps after you are satisfied that the Scottoiler is ok .............
