I have a 1995 D600 which is in the process of being recycled, and so far a couple of other members of this forum have benefitted from parts. The major problem at the moment is that the exhaust nuts are rusted solid, and some are also rounded off.
Can anyone suggest how I can remove them?

Soak with plenty of plus gas and keep applying over the next few days.
Give them a light tap with a hammer and maybe apply some heat and gently try to undo.
Patience is the key!

Lend it to M40man, his nuts are never tight, unlike his wallet

Can't go wrong with brute force and ignorance....

Take Clive's tip. Give them a good soaking with a good penetrating oil (Plus Gas is ideal) over a few days. Some light taps to hopefully loosen the rust and they should move.
If the nuts are rounded you will have to try a more brutal approach. Like a pair of 10" Stilsons or my favourite, tap a ring spanner that is slightly smaller than the rounded nut over it.
If all else fails buy a nut splitter or ask Martin to move them ;D

I find a dab of arc weld on a seized nut soon breaks its grip. It worked a treat on my exhaust header socket nuts.
Do disconnect the alternator and ignition electrics just to be sure

Thanks for all the responses. I might resort to the angle grinder option eventually.
I have been giving them periodic drenchings in WD40 since before Xmas, with no apparent effect. I will try PlusGas and see if that works any better.
If that fails then i think that I might try a Dremel next.

Arc weld is by far the best and you don't need to be able to weld - just spark it up and get the nut nice and hot.

50/50 Acetone and Automatic transmission fluid. Google it.

Be careful with any nearby paint. Acetone = nail varnish remover.
