i have 1994 div when i turn my lights on dipped is not coming on. the p o light are on and the high beam comes on. spayed the switch with wd40 and they work for all of 1 hour. have bought a new switch but still has same problem. told could be a earth problem but unsure where that is help or advise please

If it was earth it would affect both high and low beams.
Try cleaning the contacts on the bulb holder?

Check the wiring all the way from the switch to the bulb. But as it worked after spraying the switch with WD40 it looks like the switch is where you should start looking.

I could be wrong...I always thought there where two seperate eliments in the main headlamp bulb?? If so have you, and not stating the obvious checked this, and tried a replacement bulb.

Check the wiring connectors under the front of the tank near the head stock where the plastic cover is (I speak from experience) I thought my bulb had gone but it turned out to be a bad connection  |
