Does anyone happen to know if the shims are the same in the 600 and 900 engines? I ask because I have a 600 in the shed which needs a valve check, and (most of) a 900 engine sitting outside in the yard which I could cannibalise.

Thanks for that Martin. When I get around to checking the 600 I'll take the top off the 900 lump as well to confirm. Of course, sod's law says the thicknesses I need won't be in there anyway....
