My missus has just had her Bandit 600 lowered, as she's of the shorter-leg type. It's been great for her manoeuvring the bike (parking etc) but does mean the side stand is now too long. It's okay, but she has to be really careful where the stand meets the floor to make sure the bike isn't too upright - she wants is to lean on the stand like my Divvy 900! Does anyone know of a place where one can get a shortened stand? I reckon it needs to be 2cm shorter than standard. Thanks, in anticipation....

I'm about to lower my D9 so I suppose my side stand may be too long also, I would really appreciate any advice / information on this issue. Ta very much Terry

I shortened my Gs sidestand by cutting the end off with a grinder, cutting 15mm off and welding the end back on, worked fine

If that's the case, I wont bother either. (please let me3 know ) Ow t'h best Terry

(please let me3 know ) Ow t'h best Terry Yep, played about with the length of the dog bones when I first got the D9 and the sidestand length was never an issue. Getting the bngger on the main stand was harder when lowered though but possible
