I've tried a search and couldn't find anything. Has anyone fitted Hid to their XJ900 S? I'm thinking of going along this route, but a bit concerned about the length of the unit compared to the standard H4 bulb, this isn't the easiest of bulbs to replace, if the HID is longer it might be a nightmare.

Is it a straight fit on the Yam? Or does anything have to be cut about, such as the dust/water cover behind the H4 bulb?
