We got home about 6.30 after getting cj and sorting my mum's pond out. Pete got very wet on the A1, Jessica was so glad she was in the car.
Thank-you to Chris for a fast ride this afternoon and to john who took Jessica out yesterday after meeting her less than 5mins b4, also to roger for taking her 2day, all I got on they way home was everything hurts lol but she did a total of about 310miles so she did really well, she's now in bed lol
Hopefully see you all soon

Had a great day, even the obligatory 'U' turn for good measure, eh Bob? Fantastic mix of roads and some well timed stops, nice lunch if it was a tad confusing ordering. Debs, your ridings come on leaps and bounds, perhaps you should consider leaving the old grouch at home more often Bob, Fern, Chris, Ben, Pete you all did a sterling job, thanks. Had a nice little bimble back to Holdingham roundabout with U Fester and Andy, after parting company I headed back towards Lincoln and got caught in the mother of all storms! Luckily was only 5 minutes from a covered garage so sheltered in there till the worst past. The sun then came out again and dried everything up nicely before I got home. Bonus - washed all those frigging green flies off , never seen so many as there was today. thanks again, Trev

A brilliant run - thanks Greeny's . I seemed to be being stalked by a loony on a D6 though - you just can't shake him off, can you ? Great roads - plenty of hooning practice. It was nice to see so many friends - old & new. Can't wait for the next one . No pics - camera went on strike . Didn't get home until 8:20pm - damned A43 still shut for the F1 at Silverstone - mucho chaos & plenty of filtering & nipping down back roads.

Good to hear it all went well. Sorry we missed you all, but by the time we got the tent down and the bikes packed, it was after 1300hrs when we left the ZX9R party site. We were so knackered we had to stop quite a few times for coffee! ;D

Megga thanks to Bob & team for putting on such a superb run, it was brilliant. I must confess I was a bit puzzled when Bob said there was a section with hills as I can’t remember any. I can remember going through a village called Peak Hill but the place was flatter than a nuns boob so obviously there must be different meanings for peak and hill between Derbyshire and the fens. Having said that, the roads were great as we are not used to so many flat bits with nice bends, just the right thing for a steady potter round like yesterday where of course we all stuck rigidly to the speed limits. I found the three legged bridge a very interesting piece of construction. Thanks also to Trev for his company and showing us the A15 on the way back; it was a great finish to the run. Unfortunately the A17 to and out of Newark was an absolute pain in the A. there had been a Motorhome meeting somewhere and all the roads were absolute chos and travelling at a snails pace, then the heavens opened, so there was lots of filtering. The up side was it washed all the midges off everything and it proved the new boots and jacket were waterproof. It was great to see old and new faces and will be seeing some of you in a couple of weeks on the Nene run so thanks once again for a great run.
John & Andy.
