Haven't been for a while, so had a ride round today on the D9 - went up A44 to Llanfihangel, turned off through Hundred House to Builth Wells, then on to Rhayader, toured the dams, Rhayader back to Cross Gates, left in Pen-y-Bont to Knighton, back roads to Leominster, filled up with juice at Morrisons and home. About 150 glorious miles in lovely weather Photos: s490.photobucket.com/albums/rr261/reddit_photos/Elan%20Valley/

It's a fantastic place.
Did a run round there last year including stopping off at Devil's Bridge, and will probably repeat again this year sometime soon. Awesome roads indeed!

I have fond memories of riding back from Devil's Bridge on the road that comes back to the signpost in one of my pics - I was on a Buell Ulysses XB12X (as was the chap with me) and we hammered it along there as it was nice and quiet. For a dual purpose, big bike, those things are surprisingly able on the road, and very confidence inspiring. Not really an 'off road' bike though - although we had just been riding the green lanes through the forests before that, I felt a lot happier on the road. I'll try and plan in advance next time and post it up - if anyone would be interested I know a few routes round here

Ferrous Oxide? No, it wasn't my bike, it belonged to Rider's Edge at Builth Wells, we were doing a promo photo shoot for the Ulysses Adventure, there were about 6 of us in total (I think that John and I had to wait about ten minutes for the others to catch up after our little spurt ). I wouldn't mind having one sat in the garage though, for when I felt like being a hooligan. Limited tank range means long runs are a pain, and you need a step ladder to get on it, but the fun factor more than makes up for that ;D

Hi ! I own a Diversion 900S and I want to install a fitting kit for side cases. Strangely the fitting kit I have now is only for the topcase rack. What type of wing rack do you have? Any sugestions? Thanks

I've done some of those roads in Mid Wales in a hot hatchback and thought they would be great on a bike. Yesterday I pinned the D9 both ways along the B5027 between Uttoxeter and Stone. The Divvie 900 (even with worn suspension) can really hustle.
