Don't forget the ice cream for pudding - that'll make it a proper bike run out. Have a good trip....

Lucky you! I haven't even started my bike for a fortnight, and it's sinking in the swamp that used to be my back garden! Enjoy your day! Charlie

Yeah, enough of April showers at the start of summer.... thank you.
Could be worse though......we could be facing winter - like the Aussies. ;D

Sometimes plans have to be adapted A belter of a run to Glencoe, But, the bacon roll was lucky to get 6/10, when the eatery usually gets 9/10. Bacon was hard, probably pre-cooked, I'll allow them this one off but if it happens again they're for it All smiles again after a superb run round Loch Leven Then along Loch Linnhe to Oban where culinery satisfaction was restored by prawns and mussels on the pier. From here, another nirvana road to the Crinan canal basin for afters. All in all a day to savour, oops nearly for got the coffee and Mars bar at Arrochar, just to keep the strength up I'm sure you all know the route by now but just in case. Oh, nearly forgot, nice big plate of haggis, neeps and champit tatties fur tea, life is good

;D Brilliant - a cracking compulsory addition now to mini-tour threads maybe? Culinary critiques ;D
Somehow I doubt many others will be quite as comprehensive. Glad you had a nice run out.
Git. ;D

It's the first time in ages I've taken any pictures. ND Western Div. doesn't normally allow such poofyness

It's the first time in ages I've taken any pictures. ND Western Div. doesn't normally allow such poofyness We don't stop to take pics. We are out to ride bikes! Seriously, great pics , and great roads! Not often the 'Coe is seen without the veil of low cloud and rain! I see that the cafe in Crinan is open again, so that means we can avoid the disapproval of the hotel staff A great day, and I wish I could have been there. Charlie
