Here's my story of the weekend in pictures: -
Well it started with Martin and I travelling to Dumbarton on Thurs, where he enjoyed a veggie brekky at the Rooster
We had a few beers with Gaynor, Andy, Gordy and Wullie at a local pub
Martin then slept them off
Next day Wullie led us on a great run to Killin via Inverary
We then all met with Gordy and Mags and Billywhizz and Naomi for the rest of the journey to Aviemore
Spot the bloke in the background answering the call ;D
We arrived at the Ardlogie Guest House, where Charlie and Willie, Doofer, Johnny Fazer and Peter Mac were also staying
They had a ferrocious guard dog we had to sneak past
That evening we walked into the town via a look at the river
and met up with the usual suspects,
the usual nonsense followed ;D
Beebs was pleased to see me, I think or was he planning on eating me ?
The usal tummy display followed
Gaynor made sure everyone was absorbing their beer
and keeping hydrated
Wullie and Charlie arrived in time for last orders, just
Next day we were all up (amazingly) for the run, although some indulged in a takeaway breakfast
The leader and marshalls
Roger and Naomi
We stopped at Kinloss to photo a Nimrod
We then had lunch in Lossimouth
Charlie's fab TDM
Later we had an evening meal at La Taverna
Then we mostly had an "early" night
Next day we all looked a little more alive and headed of for a very windy Sunday run in the hills.
A little mishap allowed me to take some snaps of the fantastic scenery
Beebs had got his tool out to help Carol, so was feeling pleased with himself
Martin sends Doofer back to Aviemore with a dodgy clutch - I am sure she was sooo relieved he knew the way!
Typical empty road we used on the run
Was so windy here, no one dared get off their bikes for fear of them being blown over
Had to be done
We had a really nice coffee stop
Beebs found ice cream
Andy got his photo taken in a strange way
There was a beautiful cemetary by the road side
Peter was enjoying the run on his 125, he did so well in the windy conditions
Martin decided to help him with ballast
We then went on to the Glenfiddich distillery
Beebs and Ian were feeling the love
Then in the evening back into town where Martin gave Naomi some Grandfatherly advice
On Monday we had a great hoon the roads between Aviemore and Newcastle arriving there at 4pm, before deciding to go all the way home
Somewhere between Aberfeldy and Criefe
