A hot sunny day in the Arizona desert, at the base that doesn't exist. All of sudden the guards are amazed to see a small single-engined Cessna fly over, then land on the main runway.
The pilot, once his face was released from the tarmac, told a tale of how his GPS system failed and he became lost over the desert and just as his fuel was running out, saw the runways and landed.
He was kept at the base overnight and interrogated and his plane examined. In the end they accepted his story. The next day he was given a very blunt lecture as to how short his future would be if he told anyone where he had been, what he had seen etc. His plane was fuelled, he was given a map and a bearing to fly and sent on his way.
Later that afternoon, the guards were once again amazed to see the same plane fly over and land. As they circled it, weapons drawn, for the second time, they noticed that this time there were two people in the plane.
The same man jumped out and said, "look, I'm really sorry about this. My wife is on the plane. As I'm not allowed to, would you please tell her where I was last night !"
