I have a 1999 Diversion 600, the model with twin front discs, its in excellent condition, 9000 miles with all MOTs and service history,no corrosion any dings, paintwork is as bright as new.Mechanics ect are perfect. I have deceided to change the bike for something a little lighter in weight, what sort of money can i expect in part exchange for say a bike costing around £4000+. Just as a matter of interest I tried a big retailer and £800 was mentioned in part ex for a Pegaso, and i promptly left.

Sadly, you can pick up a really decent D600 for £800 to £1200.

I traded in my 1997 D6 against the TDM in 2005, they originally offered me £800 for it - and it was in almost perfect condition! I told them fat chance, and I believe I got £1,100 for it in the end. Two weeks later it was in their showroom for something like £2,295!

Oops !!! Just noticed i have posted my question in wrong section, i was very dissapointed with the £800 in part ex,have since then managed to get £1200 against a almost new SV 650,thats a bit more like it. I know i may get more selling private, but i prefer part ex,having been let down in the past by people wanting to buy the bike, then at the last min, pulling out or trying to knock the price down again. I will miss the Diversion whan i do finally deceide what to buy,but need something a bit lighter.
