can anybody advise me as to why my clutch on my 96 600 diversion is dry,the thrust bearing is knackerd and the plates are bone dry

Low oil level. Keep the oil level right at the top of the viewing window. It also quiets the engine down so is worth doing in general anyway.

The "lubrication system" of a Divvy 600 clutch is a bad joke and it ruined the beautiful relationship I had with my old bike . Grum.
