Myself and a few mates are heading to Assen for the GP... if any of you guys have been and can recommend good camping near the town/track it would be most helpful..... This is the first trip on my Divvy.... I bought her for this trip So far shes had the clutch overhauled, and the brakes too.. not to mention a new battery, and a good service... My main ride is a 50Th Anniversary R1... But I'm trusting the Div to do the job.....She may not be the prettiest bike in the group,, but she does what it says on the tin ;D.... And the jokers with the Bandits (aptly named i might add).... can do all the worrying... In finishing,,, anyone wanting to come along, feel free to get in contact.....Tommy........................................................................

I was born in Assen and am still living not too far from Assen so I am rather familiar there. DO NOT GO to Witterzomer because this family-camping always legally objects against the TT races and complains about the noise. So do not let this place profit! You could try mini camping De Gouberville, which is not 'mini' during the GP and close to the circuit. www.minicampingdegouberville.nlThere are several occasional camping places, like Camping De Ommekeer (but this one is still decent and also close to the circuit) www.campingdeommekeer.comIf you are not too selective, then there are plenty other possibilities because almost every farmer in the neighborhood offers a place on its land to camp. Pretty famous is Jan&Bertha, www.tt-camping.nl, very close to the circuit but rather 'rough'. www.tt-camping.nlHave fun, it is a great event!
