Just used some Wash in Nickwax on an old jacket and leaking pair of trousers. Done 85 miles today in drizzle and rain and no leaks + the stuck zip on the trousers is moving freely again. This seems a better idea than the spray on Nickwax.

I re-proofed my trusty Weise jacket with this stuff as it had started to leak like a sieve, and it stood up to some torrential rain a couple of months ago in Belgium.
To give some idea of how bad the rain and spray were, my feet were soaked and I was wearing what I'd previously considered to be waterproof boots that had been re-treated immediately before the trip.
