Received what i was told was a set of carbs from a 96 bike, but it appears to be an early 97 with a different choke set-up (as per parts fiche) Is there anyway i can fit these to my 94 bike or is it too much hassle? cheers

I think you have two options:
1. Swap over the choke operation parts, from old carbs to new.
2. Put the new carbs on as-is, & set up a route for the choke cable.
1. above is probably the easier, mechanically - I haven't done this with Divvy carbs, but have with others, taking choke bits off one set to replace those on another different set of carbs. Best have a good look at the set-up & see if it's practical for yours. (Choke actuator rod is probably retained by 4 grub screws AND at the far end, a split pin or spring washer.) You might get away with just changing over the end piece.

from what i can tell the choke rod on the older carbs pulls sideways, where as on the newer ones it rotates.... so swapping the choke acutator parts may not be that easy... if the choke action is stiff enough i'd be inclined to fit them without the cable and just get use to moving the lever by hand, else your gonna need the cable and the bit (no sure if it's the entire switchgear or a separate part) that goes on the bars. Best of luck... ~Oh and 1 more thing.... are your current carbs electrically heated or oil heated if there electrical you shouldn't have a problem, if there oil then you need to block off a few pipes and arrange a supply for the heaters

Thanks for the replies. Very in depth. I think the older ones are oil heated. I am able to return the ones i got so think i'll be doing that and i'll order ones that are definitely correct, make things a hell of a lot easier
