Sounds nice, but the 3 hour battery life isn't much good unless it comes with a charger which you can wire to the bike, or a bike-power lead, which it doesn't seem to include?

Anyone good at French? (The language!): Mappy site says "Support moto, oreillette Bluetooth, chargeur secteur pour l'oreillette, source d'alimentation alternative (batterie de moto 12V), câble USB, CD-Rom d'utilisation, manuel utilisateur, guide de démarrage rapide"... is this saying it has a bike power lead? www.support-gps.com/produits/presentationmappymini330moto

Pixmania has a spec. in English. It says it includes:
Motorbike mount, Bluetooth earpiece, power charger for earpiece, 12 V battery, USB cable and CD
Which is not quite the same as the French version which could be translated as "alternative supply source (12v battery of motorcycle)" or "12v motorcycle battery" - subtle difference there). But either way I take to mean that it includes a lead to connect to the bike battery, not the battery itself.
Sounds like a reasonable price, at least compared with Garmin and TomTom whose bike versions seem to me to be well over-priced just for a bit of waterproofing.

I was going to say that

Soooooooo .......... either the French don't appreciate that motorcycle batteries are not AC, or there is a question mark over your translation capabilities .

On behalf of "Google translate", my sincere apologies! ;D. For "AC power source", read "alternative power source", i.e. the motorcycle battery. I think, possibly, maybe...
