sprocket lock washer

I've suffered a misshap!! When installing my new front sprocket the lock washer's bendy tabs gave up the ghost as have snapped off when they were bent back into place.

For the life of me I can't find one anywhere, none of the normal parts websites carry them, can anyone recommend a place that I can find one please? Or must I go forth and try to find one of the few remaining bike shops that carry spares.

As always any help is greatly appreciated

Never mind. I just rang Fowlers and ordered one. I'd forgotten all about them lol, I should have one within 2 days and it's costing about a fiver all together (for anyone else who reads this and is in the same situation)

It's a PITA that when you buy a C+S kit from anywhere, they don't include that part. You shouldn't re-use them, and very bad things can happen if you reassemble with it missing. When you fit the new one, try to only bend one tab, then you can use it again one more time.

not a bad plan, I totally agree that you shoud get one with the sprocket, no where (and I mean no where) carries them as a part and I wouldn't ride with out it in place (not that I can till all the work is done and I've passed my test etc, but still....)
