Nice work Andy/Flymo/Madaxe. Surely that's not the same bike as that bag o' spanners you were in Moffat with just a few months ago? Drive chain looks like it's a bit loose BTW, or is it just the camera angle?

MadaXe the 2nd, to you good Sire, but yes it's the same 'bag o' spanners' that was seen terrorising Moffat and the surrounding area's. Looks better in the pistures than it does close up...i'd say it'll pass the 20/20 test but closer scrutiny reveals that the paint job is far from perfect but for free i'm not complaining.

Well The bikes been out on it's first tour of duty and whilst she made it there, around and back it has not been without problems... Martin, Whom' we all know is an expert mechanic would be pround of my endevours. So this mornings journey was fine, but on the way home she developed a funny clunking/knocking on changing gears, this was worse in lower gears or if accelerating hard... since it did not seem to be affecting me too much i didn't worry about it too much... 60 odd miles to go i stop for fuel and by chance spot the problem.... Well i pretty sure the engine is not supposed to rest on the frame ! and here's why... loosing all 4 bolts....is that a record I could have sworn i tightened them, but to loose all four i can't have... so needless to say the last 60 miles of my journey was taken very gingerly, without hard acceleration and minimum ewngine braking.

1) loosing all 4 bolts....is that a record 2) I could have sworn i tightened them, but to loose all four i can't have... 3) so needless to say the last 60 miles of my journey was taken very gingerly, without hard acceleration and minimum ewngine braking. 1) Probably, one maybe, two possibly but all four 2) Now where have I heard that before ? 3) Told you that Flymo bloke didn't know what he was doing (MadAxe the 2nd), doesn't sound much better Perhaps your new name should be SlackNuts Edit; Andy - from Fi's pics in the other thread seems they went awol early doors Andy's refurbed 600

Ooo-er .... i didn't notice the clunking earlier...
Yeah Clive i really considered calling the recovery peeps, but decided since as i'd been blatting about with Chele and max for the last 60 miles and the engine hadn't dropped out yet, as long as i took it nice and steady i'd make it back.

Oops.. lol understatment... but yeah it was sorted as soon as i got home... put the old rusty ones back in for now oh yeah minor abrasion to the coating, it's hardly noticiable, you'd only see it if you went looking for it.
